Peer Learning Groups

Connecting ministers for professional development and support

A key element of ministerial health is the support of peers through shared learning. CBF is committed to supporting ministers in their local congregations by helping them find connection and community among other ministers. More than 120 Peer Learning Groups (PLG) meet regularly to provide opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, interpersonal support, study, discussion of ministry-related issues and fellowship among ministers. Each PLG is eligible to receive a grant of up to $500 per year to offset group learning expenses.
