Good Samaritan Care Clinic

Critical medical and dental care for hurting people

Are you a dentist looking for opportunities to share the love of Christ?  Can you spare a day or two a year to help hurting people with critical dental care?

Through CBF Heartland’s partnership with the Good Samaritan Care Clinic (GSCC) in Mountain View, Mo., you can use your dentistry skills and training to change lives.

One of 23 free health clinics in Missouri, the Good Samaritan Care Clinic offers medical and dental services to Howell and surrounding counties. GSCC serves the working poor – those with no dental insurance and not eligible for Medicaid. While the clinic is well-equipped, staffing is limited to Monday nights and other times as volunteer providers are available.

The waiting list for dental care now numbers in the hundreds.

“Dental professionals have a unique opportunity to serve as the presence of Christ right here in the Midwest,” said Harold Phillips, coordinator for CBF Heartland. “The needs are so great that even one dentist serving for a day or two can make a tremendous impact.”
